HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR FIRST 30 YEARS:

Digging in the dirt

Ad Monkeys received the honor of creating the official logo for True North Equipment in 2011. Two years and several projects later, the local John Deere dealership again turned to us, this time for our expertise in managing the groundbreaking ceremony for its new headquarters — True North Equipment Resource Center.

Ad Monkeys worked diligently behind the scenes with the owners of True North Equipment to make their 2013 groundbreaking ceremony one to remember. And that it was!

Over the course of several months, Ad Monkeys worked directly with True North’s president and VP to plan and carry out all the detail work rarely seen by the general public. This included the distribution of news releases and followup calls to local media. The result was an excellent representation by local media at the ceremony which, in turn, gave True North leaders the opportunity to share their story. Finished media packages included radio interviews with the regional farm network, coverage on the evening news, and an in-depth front page splash in a highly regarded ag publication.

Fun pic! This closeup taken in front of the Resource Center’s construction site sign makes it look like the boys from True North Equipment are standing in front of the real thing.

No groundbreaking ceremony is complete without the support of local dignitaries. Thanks in part to our behind-the-scenes efforts, True North’s event included representatives from the Grand Forks Mayor’s office, the Greater Grand Forks Chamber of Commerce, JLG Architects, Community Contractors, and others. For all involved, the day was a complete success and confirmed something we still believe to this day… that when done correctly, this type of event appears to be all about scooping a shovel full of top soil. In reality, it goes much deeper!
