Work feels more like play anytime the Ad Monkeys are asked to produce original video content. And over the past 30 years, no client provided us more opportunities to produce and direct such stress-free adventures than the locally owned retail chain Home of Economy.
Many of our video shoots took us to interesting locations around the region. Other jobs required alternate techniques such as shooting against green screen. Gotta love that!
This farm and ranch retailer signed Ad Monkeys as Agency of Record in 2012 and over the next dozen years had us under our thinking caps, conjuring up new ways to promote the store’s top brands including Carhartt, Traeger, DeWalt, Honda Power Equipment, and more.
Special effects and some artificial snow turned a hot summer night into a winter blizzard during this Ad Monkeys video shoot.
In a world filled with run-of-the-mill retail commercials, we soon found ourselves showcasing a new set of award-winning creative — shot on location throughout the region. Favorites among these were a real live buffalo ranch, a warm summer fishing hole, a frozen Minnesota lake, and the North Dakota oil fields.
